Stern Center Sindelfingen wins tegut… as new tenant

One of the first anchor tenants signs a lease for the Stern Center in Sindelfingen (Baden-Württemberg) which will be transformed to a hybrid center. tegut... is represented with around 290 supermarkets in six German states.

The supermarket chain will move into an approx. 2,000 sq m remodeled space on the first floor. On behalf of the asset manager Corestate Capital Group, Multi is responsible for the operational and strategic management as well as the refurbishment of the new hybrid center. 

“A company that stands for a sustainable and responsible approach to good food makes the center even more attractive for our target groups and is an asset for the location,” comments Guido Beddig, Managing Director Corestate Capital Group, on the signing of the contract. 

As part of the realignment of the Stern Center, the entire spectrum of local supply plus adjacent product ranges for the Sindelfingen / Böblingen region and surrounding areas will be covered in future on an area of around 28,400 sq m. Planning and preparations for the refurbishment are already in full swing. 

“The extensive conversion will create “big boxes” from around 300 sq m to approx. 2,500 sq m, distributed over roughly 34 units plus individual smaller units for services,” says Center Manager Christian Trapmann

“The strategic realignment of the center underscores the owner’s commitment to the sustainable development of the location. After completion of the refurbishment, the Stern Center will attract customers from the entire region,” emphasizes Hubert Stech, Managing Director Multi Germany & Benelux.
