SPAR Hungary expands e-charging network

After the successful launch of an e-charging network in January 2020, SPAR Hungary continues to expand its nationwide network in cooperation with partner NKM Mobilitás Kft. This is another example of SPAR Hungary implementing innovative solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability and provide high-quality service to customers.

Based on this partnership, 33 charging stations at 17 SPAR Hypermarkets and Supermarketswere initially made available. The Mobiliti charging service is available at the national network’s usual fee of less than €0,25 per kilowatt hour. With an average consumption of 20 kWh/100km, electric vehicles charged at SPAR e-charging stations can drive 100km for about €4,75. This cost is quite favourable compared to other fuelling methods.

Information and payment options for the e-charging service are available via the easy to use Mobiliti app. Charging costs can be settled by bank card.

In the course of 2020, the e-charging network was extended in response to consumer needs. At 20 selected SPAR Super- and Hypermarkets, 48 charging stations with a maximum charging capacity of 2×22 kW were connected to the system.
