“Prospekt” shopping mall has the highest traffic rate among Ukrainian malls

Traffic and vacancy rates are the main indicators of success and attractiveness of shopping malls in Ukraine, which transparently demonstrate the dynamics of growth and effectiveness of cooperation with the main target audiences: tenants and buyers.

The team of the industry online edition Retailers.ua has prepared the rating of visits to Ukrainian shopping malls in the capital and in the regions during 2019. According to this study, “Prospekt” has become the most visited shopping mall. During the year, the traffic in the mall has exceeded 20.6 million visits, which is 0.96% more than in the previous year-to-year period.

“Our team thanks Retailers.ua for market research and generated methodology. In business, of course, figures are important. And 20.6 million traffic per year is a significant indicator. At the same time, to achieve it, all management support processes are important, namely:
operational, marketing and communication processes with different segments of audiences. “Prospekt” has a clear and understandable positioning, developed connections with followers and brand supporters and a large portfolio of implemented B2C projects. We have already developed an anti-crisis development program for “Prospekt” shopping mall by the end of 2020 in order to maintain our leadership position and achieve new goals. We focus on consumer & tenant relations, promoting benefits of offline shopping in our shopping mall and security of social space,” Anna Chubotina, CEO of Arricano, says.

“Attendance of the mall is an important indicator for the commercial real estate and retail business. Our edition has been preparing an annual rating of shopping malls since 2015 and this study is in demand among our readers. This year, we have taken into account wishes and comments, so we have slightly changed the ranking of the shopping malls depending on their GLA, city and population. We are convinced that our study will contribute to the openness and transparency of market relations between tenants and landlords through unbiased data on traffic,” Yulia Belinska, founder of Retailers.ua, says.
