Prague The Style Outlets prepares its grand opening for April 26, 2018

Neinver will introduce its international best-in-class platform The Style Outlets to the Czech Republic through a flagship center in Prague, right in the heart of Europe.

The scheme’s refurbishment is underway to create the ultimate shopping destination for this affluent, cosmopolitan city. It will offer the best of Prague’s shopping districts in one place: the architecture of the old city shopping streets mixed with the atmosphere of the newer retail areas.

As the capital city, Prague is home to a significant share of the Czech economy, with 1.26 million residents and average salaries 30% above the national average. With a mature retail market, the city is the number-one shopping destination in CEE, with a booming retail scene and attractive shopping havens such as Parizska Street.

Prague The Style Outlets is set to become the largest outlet center in the Czech Republic, bringing together top brands and designer fashion alongside eclectic food retailers and luxury facilities in a single location comprising 190 shops and 2,400 parking spaces. The initial phase, which will open its doors next spring, will feature 19,600 sq m of GLA and phase two will bring the total area up to 30,000 sq m.

“Prague’s flagship center will introduce the Czech Republic and its retail-savvy shoppers to The Style Outlets experience. An attractive, welcoming environment and a full range of value-added customer services will complement the center’s premium commercial mix,” said Sebastian Sommer, Neinver’s Business Development Director Europe.

Just five minutes from the airport

Prague The Style Outlets is only 25 minutes from the city center, with direct access to and from the D7 motorway that leads to the Prague metropolitan area’s ring road system and is an important interregional transport axis. “The center is perfectly positioned to provide a desirable, accessible retail destination, bringing top international and national brands to its 4.6-million-customer-strong catchment area,” added Sommer.

In addition to the strong local market, Prague is the fourth-most-visited capital city in Europe and one of the busiest and most popular tourist destinations. With a prime location, Prague The Style Outlets will capture the potential of this tourist market. The center is located less than five minutes from Prague’s international airport, the busiest airport in CEE, receiving 14 million passengers a year. A shuttle bus is planned to connect the two, ensuring easy access and transport service for tourists traveling to or from the country.

Tourist-targeted services at the center will also include flight information boards, shuttle bus service to the airport, and VAT refunds. In addition, the center will feature a variety of services and amenities, such as a welcome desk, playground, free Wi-Fi zones, and lounges to offer a pleasant stay and a complete shopping experience.

The Style Outlets platform is managed by Neinver, a leading European company specialized in development and property and investment management – currently Europe’s second-largest operator of outlet centers and a key player in the market for 20 years. Its international platform already successfully runs nine other centers across Europe, featuring 400 brands and 800 stores with continuous growth in both footfall and sales.
