Over 40 million products at Kaufland.de

The ever-growing product range: Online marketplace Kaufland.de now offers more than 40 million products from over 8,000 online retailers. In recent months, 10 million new items have been added, especially to the homeware, electronics, kitchen & household product worlds.

“The online marketplace provides customers with an ideal complement to Kaufland’s store offering”, says Gerald Schönbucher, divisional board member for Kaufland e-commerce. “In-store customers can find a wide selection of groceries, everyday items and a selection of non-food goods in the approximately 750 stores, whereas on Kaufland.de, customers can choose from a very wide range of nonfood products, which are mainly sold by approximately 8,000 retailers.”

Starting in 2023, Kaufland will expand its successful marketplace concept to the Czech Republic and Slovakia, so that customers there will also be able to use the online marketplace to shop around the clock. As is already the case in Germany, the plan is to offer a large selection of items in the homeware, electronics, garden & DIY, kitchen & household, baby & child product worlds.
