Outlet Park Szczecin with record-high number of visitors

Outlet Park Szczecin, owned by Echo Polska Properties, is the most popular outlet in Poland - in the first quarter of this year it was visited by 825,837 people – more than in case of other similar outlets. Average monthly footfall in Outlet Park Szczecin amounts to 290,000 customers.

“Increasing footfall results from our constantly enriched offer,” says Mariusz Machnicki, general manager at Outlet Park Szczecin. “Recently, we have opened Duka and New Balance stores. Late April, we plan to open Umbro store – a British sport clothing and footwear brand – which will occupy 135 sq m.”

Machnicki adds that another factor that makes Outlet Park Szczecin so attractive are its tenants’ offers – each week, one can find new, price-attractive proposals. “And this directly translates into higher revenue,” adds Machnicki. “In the first quarter of 2017, the revenue turnover grew 11%.”

So are marketing efforts – communicating attractive price offers by high-quality brands in a way that combines both traditional communication outlets and social media. Any regular shopping events, like “Half-Price Weekend” or “Price-less Saturday” attract customers not only from Western Pomerania or neighboring voivodships, but also from Germany or Scandinavia.

However, the owner of Outlet Park Szczecin admits that while average monthly footfall of 290,000 is something to be proud of, considering 2.9 million zone of influencecatchment area, Szczecin outlet still has huge growth potential. This is why, late 2016, EPP started to extend the outlet by 3,800 sq m with additional 20 stores. The opening is scheduled for this autumn.
