Opening in the Midst of a Pandemic

Recently, the Outlet Moscow was officially opened by Hines in the Russian capital.

The project is located in the New Riga area – only 5 km from the Moscow Ring Road and 25 km from the city center. From the very first day, fashion brands have included names such as Brunello Cucinelli, Philipp Plein, Coach, Michael Kors, Frame Moscow, a men’s clothing boutique featuring Italian brands, Agent Provocateur, children’s clothing store Silver Spoon, luxury optics salon Ekran Optika, sunglasses boutique Sun Solo, Swiss watch and jewelry boutique Time Avenue, as well as gastronomic outlets “Syrovarnya”, a restaurant belonging to the Novikov Group, and coffee shop “DoubleB”. Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Kiton, Brioni, and Loro Piana are also set to open boutiques at the location in the near future.

The outlet is comprised of approximately 90 retail stores and covers an area of 25,000 sq m. The Outlet Moscow is one of a kind, according to Hines, as it is the first outlet in Russia to work with premium and luxury brands.

Flower Beds and Cozy Benches

The architecture of The Outlet Moscow reflects a modern design concept: distinct, graphic lines, plenty of space and light, coupled with the cozy atmosphere of the shopping streets and shop windows of the boutiques. Thanks to the street-retail format, outlet visitors are able to enjoy walks in the fresh air while shopping. The location offers a number of ways in which visitors can spend their time – apart from just shopping: There is a fountain in the central square, and there are restaurants, coffee houses, green areas with flower beds, and comfortable benches where customers can relax. The project design was developed by the architectural office TTMG International and was executed in a modern industrial style using high-quality materials.
