Neinver reopens its outlet centres in Germany and Poland

NEINVER is reopening its five outlet centres in Poland today under strict health and safety measures and with over 80% of their shops open. The FACTORY centres in Warsaw, Krakow, Gliwice and Poznan have implemented reopening plans in close coordination with the brands and authorities to ensure the maximum safety of employees and visitors.

Poland thus becomes the second market where NEINVER is reactivating its outlet portfolio. The second-largest operator of outlet centres in Europe and the market leader in Spain and Poland, the company launched its reopening process on 20 April in Germany.

The Style Outlets centres located in Halle Leipzig (Saxony) and Montabaur (Rhineland-Palatinate) were the first to resume operations in compliance with all health, social-distancing and safety protocols. And despite getting the centres and their outlets up and running again on short notice, The Style Outlets centres in Germany kicked off their first week operating with every safety measure in place, and with nearly 90% of the shops open in Halle Leipzig and 70% in Montabaur.

The main precautions adopted at centres managed by NEINVER include those intended to maximise safety at the centres through disinfection, cleaning and sanitising of the spaces, monitoring air quality at the indoor centres, access control, and other measures to prevent contagion. Regarding the operation and logistics of the shops and their staff, special measures are taken for the intake of goods and for stock management, and for employees’ safety.

Alcohol-based hand sanitiser dispensers are available to visitors at each entrance and elsewhere in the centres, and in both Germany and Poland, visitors are required to wear masks at the centres. The security and access-control teams ensure compliance with health and safety measures and social distancing. The reopenings of the German centres have demonstrated how both employees and shoppers complied responsibly with all measures and have adapted quickly to the new situation.

NEINVER has deployed multidisciplinary teams to coordinate the various centres’ reopenings in every country where it does business, in ongoing open dialogue with local governments and the brands to coordinate the different tasks leading to a future opening.
