MEC operates new center in Munich-Allach

EVER.S opens on July 18, 2019.

After a total of four years of construction, the EVER.S shopping center will celebrate its opening on July 18th, 2019. The 14,300 sq m district centre in Munich-Allach was developed by MOEG GmbH. MEC METRO-ECE Centermanagement GmbH & Co. KG is now responsible for center management and will also take over the property management from October 1, 2019.

The current owner and client of EVER.S and the entire project at Oertelplatz is MOEG. With effect from October 2019, the property will be transferred to the new owner Swiss Life Deutschland, who has acquired EVER.S with the support of CORPUS SIREO Real Estate and will hold it in a long-term fund of Swiss Life Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft.

32 tenants have currently moved into the 11,500 sq m shopping centre. The anchor tenants of EVER.S are the food retailer Edeka and the drugstore chain Rossmann. Together with retailers such as Ernsting’s family, Kern Schuhe, Apollo Optik, Spielwaren Krömer and Gastronomy (Bäckerei Wünsche, Little Tokio, Lekkerwerk etc.) and services such as a cleaning service, pharmacy, hairdresser, shoe and locksmith service, they form a balanced branch mix. The head building of EVER.S houses the rooms of the Munich adult education centre and the old people’s and service centre as well as the offices of the BKK.

Central location and 326 parking spaces

EVER.S is located at the Oertelplatz in the district Allach in the northwest of Munich. In Allach, one of Munich’s fastest growing districts, the MOEG is creating a modern district centre with a local square with a fountain and a weekly market, the station square for buses and taxis as well as the Bike & Ride facility and P+R underground car park.

EVER.S is well connected to the transport infrastructure. Visitors can reach the new centre by S-Bahn and bus lines 160, 164 and 165. In the basement of the centre there are 326 car parking spaces, which are supplemented by 128 parking spaces in the public P&R underground car park.

The motorway access to the A8 Munich-Stuttgart is about 7 minutes away, the access to the A99 motorway ring about 5 minutes by car. The S-Bahn station Allach of the line S 2 Petershausen-Erding is located directly at the planning area. The journey to the main station takes about 15 minutes.

Shortly before EVER.S, the Stadtsparkasse also opened its building on Oertelplatz on July 17. The Adult Education Centre Munich has already opened its premises on July 12 and started running their course schedule on July 15.

Opening ceremonies on July 18 with many activities

In the center and on the forecourt, the opening ceremonies with numerous activities for the end consumers will take place from 9:30 a.m. onwards. “We are pleased to present the new center and invite all people from Munich and the surrounding area to get a personal impression,” says EVER.S Center Manager Michael Schueller.
