La Torre Outlet Zaragoza to Open in October 2020

The urban entertainment center, which features an integrated outlet village, will be the first of its kind in Europe. ROS Outlet Shopping will be responsible for its management.

La Torre Outlet Zaragoza, built by Grupo Iberebro, is due to open its doors in October 2020. The opening of the center, which was originally scheduled to take place in May 2020, has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Throughout the state of emergency, construction work continued in accordance with all official regulations

More Than 90 Brands

La Torre Outlet Zaragoza is managed by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping. Managing Director Thomas Reichenauer, Member of the ACROSS Executive Board, explains: “We are very proud to be part of this new generation of outlet centers and can hardly wait for the opening. Customers will be able to enjoy fashion outlet and convenience shopping, leisure spaces, entertainment, and culinary delights all in one place, thereby fulfilling new customer demands for sustainability and digitalization as well as providing a new meeting place.”

Visitors will be able to enjoy more than 90 international fashion, sport, and lifestyle brands, such as Adidas, Reebok, Guess, Mango, and Fifty, an outlet owned by the Tendam Group (Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, Springfield, Women’Secret, and Milano) along with many others, always at discounts ranging from 30% to 70%. The outlet village will feature a wide-ranging offer, including a state-of-the-art Artesiete cinema, a food court, a stand-alone McDonalds drive-through, and an interactive leisure area. Cooperation with Telefónica will enhance the shopping experience by means of a fully integrated digital approach, which will include a customer loyalty program, social media linked gamification, as well as virtual and augmented reality features. A massive LED screen displayed in the central plaza will be a major highlight. An additional attraction will be a 2-level climbing wall provided by Climbat, with additional locations in Madrid and Barcelona.

La Torre Outlet Zaragoza will cover a GLA of 61,500 sq m, of which 13,500 sq m will be dedicated to the Outlet Village, 15,000 square meters to the Food Court and Leisure Zone, and 33,000 square meters to the Retail Park, which will be anchored by a Decathlon store measuring 3,000 square meters. A total of 2,800 free parking spaces will be available. The outlet is conveniently located in the north of Zaragoza, is adjacent to the AP-68 highway to Bilbao, and is directly connected to the A-2, one of the main highway links that connects Zaragoza to Madrid and Barcelona. The location also benefits from being well-connected to public transport, and it has its own train station, which is connected to the AVE Renfe high-speed train to Madrid and Barcelona. Moreover, Zaragoza airport is only a 10-minute drive away.

Delicacies of the finest quality @Chicken Crime Department Düsseldorf

During my stroll through Düsseldorf's streets, a store immediately caught my eye, both delightful and manageable, but as I said, impossible to miss: the Chicken Crime Department at Ackerstrasse 142 in the creative district of Flingern.

European Retail in 2021 and 2022

One crisis follows the next. While retailers faced nationwide lockdowns, restrictions based on testing, vaccination, or recovery, and already disrupted supply chains last year, the war in Ukraine is bringing the issue of “consumer pricing” to the forefront. Additionally, supply chain disruptions and record energy prices are leading to unseen inflation rates in many European countries for several decades.

With tradition and craftsmanship towards the future@Giobagnara Venice

In probably the most famous district of Venice, San Marco, a company has managed to expand in recent months and now operates five stores just minutes from each other: Giobagnara. Two of these stores are right next to St. Mark's Church, another is located on St. Mark's Square, not far from Caffè Florian (there is a meeting room on the second floor with a wonderful view of St. Mark's Square); the fourth store can be found beside Harry's Bar.
