Hollister will join JD Sports who signed up last year for a new 1,100-sq.m (11,800 sq.ft) flagship store in the new two-level extension to the Central Mall. Construction is underway and is scheduled for completion late next year.

In addition to this, Fingal County Council has granted permission for the development of an additional 3,200-sq.m (35,000-sq.ft) extension at Blanchardstown’s Blue Mall entrance. The extension will be located close to the Odeon Cineplex and several of Blanchardstown’s existing eateries, including Nando’s, Milano and Eddie Rockets and will provide space for a number of new restaurants ranging in size from 142 sq.m to 861 sq.m (1,528 sq.ft to 9,267 sq.ft). The extension will also incorporate a new feature entrance for the centre.

It has proved a phenomenal success for both the centre and Krispy Kreme, as it has turned out to be the highest grossing restaurant opening of all 1,300 outlets in the entire Krispy Kreme portfolio worldwide,” adds Nash.
