Gretna Gateway Outlet Village welcomes The Fragrance Shop

RPMI Railpen (Railpen) has officially welcomed one of the UK’s top fragrance retailers, The Fragrance Shop, to Gretna Gateway Outlet Village, Scotland’s premier designer village. Opening its doors on the 20 November, the launch of the store marks the creation of numerous retail jobs for the local community.

The Fragrance Shop boutique at Gretna Gateway joins the retailer’s network of over 200 stores across the country, and will stock a wide range of distinctive designer scents such as Caroline Herrera, Lacoste, Diesel, Guess, Armani and Hugo Boss.

The newly opened store also complements the destination’s premium range of beauty retailers, including Molton Brown, The Body Shop and The Cosmetics Company Store.

Mahmoud Attia, Investment Manager at RPMI Railpen, commented: “The Fragrance Shop is a very welcome addition to the line-up of beauty brands at Gretna Gateway, which have continue to be one of the top performing categories at the destination this year. During this difficult time for the sector, it’s fantastic to secure this exciting new retailer, and to continue enhancing the experience and value at Gretna Gateway for visitors.”

Shona Gilchrist, Area Manager at The Fragrance Shop, added: “We are so excited to be launching our new store in Gretna. Gretna Gateway is such a busy hub for so many people making the journey across the border and we are looking forward to spraying a little happiness into their day.”

The launch of The Fragrance Shop coincides with the significant investment programme underway at Gretna Gateway. The works incorporate comprehensive architecture and landscape redevelopments, as part of the destination’s upcoming rebrand to Caledonia Park, Scotland’s premier designer village.

JLL and Johnston Property Consultants Ltd advised Railpen in the deal, while Johnstone Property Consultants Ltd acted for The Fragrance Shop.
