CCC opens Zagreb’s biggest shoe store

An almost 1,000 sq m store has opened its doors at Arena Centar.

The 26 CCC shoe stores in Croatia now have a total sales area of 17,500 sq m and are the company’s next step towards market leadership. “We opened the biggest shoe store and, at the same time, the capital’s first CCC shop on the premises of Arena Centar, the latest hotspot of Zagreb’s shopping-center landscape, using CCC’s new shopfitting design. The new store is based on the shop design of a premium concept-store, Europe’s state-of-the-art shopfitting concept,” says CCC’s General Manager Gerald Zimmermann about the new opening. He manages CCC’s Slovenian and Croatian subsidiaries from Graz, Austria. He says, “This is our latest step towards market leadership.”

CCC is Europe’s biggest shoe manufacturer and the continent’s fastest growing shoe-fashion provider. CCC has already been the biggest one in the CEE countries since 2014. The company’s stock is publicly traded at the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In the first four months of 2019, the Group-holding achieved sales of 364 million euros and therefore an increase in sales of 43 percent against the first trimester of 2018. The company’s online retail sector continues to grow rapidly in its 15 countries and achieved growth of 48 percent. By the end of April, CCC managed more than 1,150 stores with a total sales area of approximately 689,000 sq m in 18 countries. Including its online retail business, CCC is now active in 23 countries. The company’s total sales area grew by 38 percent within a year.
