Atrium announces major refurbishment of Promenada shopping center

Atrium’s flagship shopping center in Warsaw (Poland), Atrium Promenada, begins the next stage of its redevelopment. The investment aims to refurbish the second part of the shopping center, the first one was completed in autumn, 2018.

The changes will include a comprehensive refurbishment of the interior and a remodeling of the entrance to the mall from Jana Nowaka Jeziorańskiego Street. 

“Atrium Promenada is the flagship of our portfolio with a wide range of premium brands. We have been transforming it since 2016 as part of successive phases of work.  The current modernization will allow us to offer customers an even richer proposition in this area. Particularly in such large and significant locations as Warsaw, a modern European capital which is developing dynamically,” says Scott Dwyer, Group Managing Director – Retail, Atrium European Real Estate.

“Promenada already has a strong, established position in the market, a loyal customer base and an ever-increasing catchment due to new residential developments in the immediate vicinity. In addition, we are planning to build rental apartments next to Promenada,” adds Scott Dwyer.

Atrium Promenada will function normally during the ongoing modernization works. Completion of the refurbishment is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
