Supernova: Acquisition of 4 Max centers in Slovakia

Supernova Group is expanding in Slovakia. The Austrian real estate company aquired four shopping centers operated under the brand Max.

Supernova has been present on the Slovakian market since 2016 with eleven OBI stores. The four recently acquired shopping centers operated under the brend Max are located in Trnava, Trencin, Nitra, and Poprad. They have been an integral part of the retail landscape there for more than ten years. Each of the projects have a size of around 15,000 sq m.

In addition to the Max cinemas, anchor tenants include, for example, Billa, New Yorker, Kik, Tedi, Sinsay and Decathlon. According to Supernova a first step will be an optical and technical renovation of the centers. The corporate goal of climate neutrality of the Supernova Group by the end of 2023 will also be implemented. Therefore, the centers will be energy-optimized and green certified.
