Sale of „Fairway” portfolio is closed

Hunter REIM closed the sale of „Fairway” portfolio to Centerscape Investments. The last property, sold within this portfolio transaction, was a retail park in Toruń.

Two other retail parks, included in „Fairway” portfolio, located in Inowrocław and Warsaw, were acquired by Centerscape Investments in December 2021. Centerscape Investments closes the acquisition of retail parks portfolio from Hunter REIM. Avison Young represented the seller in the transaction.

In December 2021, Centerscape Investments acquired from Hunter REIM two retail parks located in Warsaw and Inowroclaw, offering ca. 4,550 square meters of leaseable space, both assets having Netto chain as the grocery anchor operator. Currently, Centerscape closes this portfolio transaction by acquiring the last property constituting the portfolio – retail park in Torun. The property has 1,424 sq m GLA and also Netto as the grocery anchor tenant.

“The transacted properties are all attractively located retail parks with a strong anchor tenant – a grocery operator. This type of investment product is currently one of the most sought-after on the market, evolving dynamically since 2020. Developers compete in securing land for new investments, therefore acquiring already existing assets is also a very good strategy, ensuring the purchase of property in good locations, with an established position among local communities.”, comments Artur Czuba, Associate Director at Avison Young.

Legal advisory was provided to Hunter REIM by Legal GKW Grabalski, Kempiński i Wspólnicy, while Legal CDZ Chajec i Wspólnicy advised to Centerscape Investments.
