New Faces at Edmonton Green

Ashdown Philips has appointed two new members of staff to join the management team Edmonton Green Shopping Center, North London.

Joe Katona joins the team as Centre Manager and Adrian Racaru as Marketing and Commercial Assistant. 

Katona pledges to continue the work in positioning the venue as a community lead center. Edmonton Green Shopping Centre has a year packed full of exciting community-focused initiatives and events planned. Joe is committed to ensuring Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, sustains its role as a key central hub for the local community as well as delivering a vibrant, all-inclusive customer experience.

The new Center Manager explained: “Previous to my new role at Edmonton Green, I have had experience within office management and the hospitality industry before moving over to shopping center management, and I have worked at Westfield shopping center for 10 years as an Estates and Project Manager.”

“The thing that drove me to Edmonton Green Shopping Center was the demographic, it’s a very community-based center. I want to be able to give back to the community, help people, and continue the great work that is already happening here” continued Katona.

Adrian Racaru will be working closely with Katona across the board supporting marketing and commercial activities across the center. The commercialization at Edmonton Green is run in house to enable the team to embrace the community and fully support local independent businesses. 

The new Marketing and Commercial Assistant commented: “I have worked in the shopping center industry for eight years, the role here at Edmonton Green is a great opportunity for me to be able to use the skills I have learnt in the industry for the better”. “I am incredibly passionate about the new role and I love what I am doing here at Edmonton Green” explained Racaru.
