Redevco appoints new Development Director UK Simon Russian

Redevco announces Simon Russian is to join its UK business as Development Director. He will report to recently appointed Portfolio Director Chris Fleetwood.

Chris Fleetwood, Portfolio Director Redevco UK said: “We are delighted to welcome Simon on board. He has more than 35 years’ experience in real estate with extensive development expertise. He will further assist Redevco with its urban transformation strategy to help cities become more sustainable and liveable places.”

Simon Russian, Development Director Redevco UK added: “I am passionate about creating vibrant places. This role will allow me to fully use the experience, knowledge, and network I have built over the years. I’m confident that I can contribute to helping the company re-purpose retail to mixed-use, and I look forward to closely working with the internal team as well as stakeholders across the different phases of these often long-term redevelopment projects.”

Simon will take on a newly created role in the Redevco UK team, with a particular focus on transforming recently purchased Templars Square in Oxford. The company considers the potential of this project be a perfect example of urban regeneration where it can reinvigorate an existing retail asset into a thriving urban destination with a positive environmental and social impact on the local community.
