Multi has signed leasing contract with tedi in poland

A new TEDi shop opened in Multi‘s Poland-managed shopping centre 3 Stawy in Katowice. The deal with the non-food retailer is another leasing contract with a discounter that Multi has recently signed.

The retailer mix at the Multi Poland-managed shopping centre 3 Stawy in Katowice, Poland, has been bolstered with new tenant TEDi, one of several planned for this year. Since 2020 Multi has leased over 64 thousand sq m GLA in six shopping centres it manages in Poland.

The other deals include: two Carrefour hypermarkets, a Primark’s shop, several Action and HalfPrice discount stores, the second LG Brand Store in Europe and many other brands. Multi Corporation, together with its Polish division Multi Poland, manages a total of over 80 commercial facilities in Europe and Turkey.

Non-food discounters on the rise

The TEDi shop has been then opened in January this year. The store occupies 900 sq m and is designed in the contemporary style that aligns with 3 Stawy’s vision to provide a fast, smart and convenient shopping experience. Multi Corporation drives value through collaboration and the work of top architects, proven asset and property managers, and leasing professionals.

„There are a few types of tenants currently engaged in expansion in Poland. Non-food discounters are one of the types, renting more and more space in our shopping centres“, says Anna Fabianowska, Senior Asset Manager Multi Poland. „This shows how important it is to have an extensive network of contacts in this retail segment across Europe and to understand changing customer preferences.“ Currently, Multi is negotiating with other international retail chains interested in leasing premises in shopping centres managed by this company in Poland.
