Installation of building technology and integrated FM for Rée Carré in Germany

Regular operations begun after opening of urban district in Offenburg.

Following the installation of technical facilities for heating, sanitation, ventilation, and cooling by the specialist Apleona subsidiary Apleona Wolfferts last year, the real estate service provider has now also taken on integrated facility management for the recently opened urban district in Offenburg in southwestern Germany. The client is OFB Projektentwicklung, a subsidiary of Helaba in Frankfurt.

The service agreement for technical and infrastructure services has been concluded until the end of 2024 and covers the full range of facility management. In addition to all soft services, this also includes property management, technical management of all technical installations, maintenance, inspection, and warranty tracking, through to a 24/7 on-call breakdown service.

CEO Dr. Jochen Keysberg comments: “With its high level of technical expertise, Apleona is able to offer and implement both fitting services and the subsequent FM services reliably from a single source for building contractors and project developers, with high-quality workmanship and within a narrow time frame.”

The downtown district consists of five buildings with around 17,500 m² of rental space above ground. Between the buildings there are small alleyways providing access to the shops, a fitness studio, restaurants, 22 rental apartments, and offices. In addition, a specially constructed underground car park provides visitors with some 400 parking spaces and bicycle storage facilities. Apleona has been taking on building operations gradually since October last year, initially for transitional operations. Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, the opening of the shopping center and thus the start of regular operations was postponed until March 2021. The Rée Carré has now been fully open since Thursday last week and regular operations have begun to the extent permitted by the current distancing and hygiene rules.
