Ceetrus strengthens board of directors and management, at global and local level

Ceetrus announces additions to its Board of Directors and Management at a global and local level, with the appointment of two new members. Antoine Grolin, 44, an international real estate specialist, has just been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ceetrus. On a national level, Séverine Bodard, with 20 years of experience in management, development and transformation of real estate, steps in as Director of Ceetrus Portugal.

This nomination represents yet another step on the strategy of making Ceetrus a reference player in the transformation of cities around the world.

On a national level, Séverine Bodard, with 20 years of experience in management, development and transformation of real estate, steps in as Director of Ceetrus Portugal.

Globally, since taking office, Antoine Grolin has focused on the strategy to exit the current health crisis, gradually and safely, for all employees, customers, and business partners. Antoine Grolin will contribute to accelerating the transformation of Ceetrus’ real estate activities and way of functioning, to develop more resilient, sustainable, diverse and interconnected cities, planned in a concerted way in its multiple functions (housing, retail, services, entertainment).

His appointment follows a new European reorganization of Ceetrus in the different countries so that the company is as close as possible to the needs of the territories and local partners, which in Portugal also translates into the appointment of Séverine Bodard as new Director of Ceetrus Portugal.

Thus Séverine Bodard joins the current Ceetrus Portugal leadership after the role of General Director was extinguished in 2019, supporting this new market positioning and taking on the challenge of achieving the transformation of the company, reinforcing the transformative role of the cities, with a positive and sustainable impact.

With a comprehensive professional career in commercial real estate and its transformation in the face of different cultural, behavioural, and temporal contexts, Séverine Bodard has more than 20 years of experience in fast-changing market contexts. She assumed the portfolio of the Directorate of Shopping Centers for the first time in 2007, at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. In 2009, she joined Ceetrus and embraced the challenge of Country Operation & Marketing Director in Russia, leading, among others, the reference project in commercial real estate – Aquarelle – Volgograd, with an investment of 200 million euros. From 2014 until coming to Portugal, Séverine Bodard was responsible for the company in the Chinese market, where she managed a team of more than 200 employees and more than 70 commercial spaces.

Séverine Bodard states that “this is a huge challenge and I am very excited about the opportunity to work in Portugal, as it is a market full of potential in terms of mixed real estate, with the intersection of commercial activities, offices, housing, leisure and others. There is, therefore, the scope for transformation and innovation, and it is very interesting to contribute to the transformation of cities, with our projects developing for a greater positive, sustainable local impact, and offering a higher quality of life in line with needs of people, territories and the economy. Additionally, and having moved from a country so energetic in terms of innovation and development, as is the case of China, I intend to apply my knowledge and vision of the new trends therein to the European reality, in a mission to develop the local market ”.
