After the refurbishment of Ogrody completed in 2015, time has come for further changes to accommodate the latest trends in shopping malls development and to the customer’s needs. Ogrody is the largest shopping mall in the region; it is only natural, then, that it has become a place not only for shopping but for spending spare time or for meet-ups with friends. Reconstruction of the food court and creation of chillout zones will improve the customers’ comfort during meet-ups or shopping and extend the duration of their stay at the mall.
“The upgraded food court will be so much more functional. First of all, the number of seats will be tripled. We will also create a playground for the kids to make it more comfortable for families to eat their meals outside home. The newly arranged food court will be a state-of-the-art place, incorporating the current trends – it will feature lots of wooden components, greenery, plant motifs. It will be both spacious and cozy”, said Agnieszka Muż, Senior Asset Manager for CPI Property Group, owner of the Ogrody shopping mall.
The works will be conducted in stages, mainly during night-time, to prevent any inconvenience for the customers, and the restaurants will not have to suspend or limit their operations. Throughout the duration of the reconstruction, the customers will be able to eat at the restaurants and cafes.
Chillout zones will also be created to make shopping breaks more comfortable. In two locations on level +1, next to H&M and TK MAXX, ergonomically shaped wooden seats with plant motifs will appear. The decorative wall passing the mall’s three stories will also be refurbished. New relaxation areas as well as a playground for the kids will be arranged on level 0.The renovation works will not affect the mall’s functioning. Throughout the renovation, all stores and outlets will be open and all passageways kept.
The project investor is Ogrody’s owner – CPI Property Group. Tetris is the general contractor, and the new fitout design has been developed by Bulak Projekt design studio.
